My Story So Far

- Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina to James and Sara I spent most of my years in the state's capital city. I had an essentially non-eventful childhood although I did start taking karate in the fifth grade and went on to earn 1st and 2nd degree blackbelts. I played football in highschool and then went to the University of South Carolina for college and graduated with a degree in geograghy. My last semester in college I had a radical life-transforming encounter with God. He had been chasing after me for quite some time and finally on August the 11th, 1997 I trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord. After college I spent three years in Puerto Rico as a missionary where I learned to speak spanish(me encanta espanol) and play the guitar. I now serve at my church as worship Leader. This blog is about God and me, My life in Christ. My mind and everything that comes with it are His. This is His blog. Hope you enjoy.
